The Sudarshana Chakra is not thrown.
With will-power
it is sent against the enemy,
it rotates very, very fast
after leaving the finger
it chases the enemy,
and would return back to the finger
after fulfilling the required need.
The chakra itself is round
and has something
like the points of arrows
all around its edge.
I am still wondering what this chakra really tries to symbolize. They say that "Su" means "Auspicious" and "darshana" means "observation". So it stands for auspicious observation. Truth standing out clear from error. Hmm, I wonder what it takes to possess this weapon.
A finger kiss.
Interesting link. Thank you.
